Letters to the Editor   eLetters

Letters to the editor appear in the print version of the journal and are also available online. You can access current letters to the editor through the current Table of Contents or locate letters to the editor for a specific issue by going to the Archives and selecting the issue of interest. You can also use the Search feature to locate specific letters by author or topic (limit your search by selecting "Letters" as one of your search criteria). To submit a letter to the editor, go to our online submission form.

Electronic letters to the editor (eLetters) are posted online only. You can access recent submissions from our eLetters page. You can also view eLetters in response to a specific article by locating the article of interest, then following the links in the article's content box (the box at the top right-hand side of the first page) to "View responses." To submit an eLetter in response to an article, use the "Submit a Response" link in that article's content box.
