Free Access. As of 1 March 2005, Health Affairs Web Exclusives are available free of charge to all Web site visitors for a two-week period following posting. After the free-access period, they are available to nonsubscribers on a pay-per-view basis. Web Exclusives published before March 2005 are currently free access to all viewers, except for those published 7 October 2004. This group of papers constituted a “special issue” on the topic of medical variations and are subject to a pay-per-view restriction.
