As the United States debates potential changes in health policy, there is a need for need for trusted, timely, visible and organized analysis of changes in the health care system. The Health Affairs Obamacare to Trumpcare Hub collects and curates timely, reliable information and analysis from a variety of sources and from multiple points of view to provide a comprehensive collection of thought leadership and emerging knowledge on health policy issues related to the current debate.

Key health policy questions are explored for the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Medicare, Medicaid, insurance regulation, payment reform, and more. The Hub catalogs and shares materials that range from short descriptions of policy options, simulations of the effects of particular policy changes, analysis and commentary on policy themes, and, ultimately, empirical work describing the effects of policies that are adopted and implemented.

Health Affairs has informed health reform for 35 years. As the leading journal of health policy thought and research, Health Affairs’ mission is to serve as a high-level, nonpartisan forum to promote analysis and discussion on improving health and health care, and to address such issues as cost, quality, and access.

Health Affairs would like to thank the Colorado Health Foundation for their support.
